Leading Hardware Engineer

Purpose of Job Assignment

The Leading Hardware Engineer is charged with implementing the hardware and firmware aspects of Atomos' product design. The role calls for world-class that can keep Atomos products ahead of competitors that compete on the global stage.
As part of the wider development team you will also contribute to the ideas and lP that embody Atomos’ history of groundbreaking product design.


Designing FPGA architecture implementation, coding, synthesis and testing

Key Working Relationships
  • CTO – guidance on the technology roadmap for the business
  • Director Firmware – day to day priority and review of tasks completed
  • Project Manager – coordination of activity to ensure it is in line with the wider company roadmap

    • Principles for Hardware, Software, Firmware product Expertise in high speed (multi gigabit) digital design
    • Expertise in asynchronous and complex interface logic
    • Expertise in video systems, display interfaces (MIPI, LVDS and eDP) and infrastructure for 4K and beyond
    • Expertise in mathematical processing pipelines
    • Expertise in optimizing logic for high speed processing
